Tuesday 8/29

Jake is continuing to show so much improvement; remember dad was chuckling a few days ago when Jake was wrestling the nurses, well it is not quite so funny when mom and dad were the ones that he was wrestling with and dad wound up with his fingers mashed between Jake's foot and the bed frame. But they love the fact that he is so strong and showing the desire to be out of the bed. This afternoon they moved his airway tube and he looks more comfortable having all of the tubes out of his mouth.

Rick and Ant have had so much support (hugs, cards, meals, and especially prayers) every one of these have been appriciated greatly, we are overwhelmed. One of the big reliefs came to us from a very dear freind retrieving Shaphan's four-wheeler and the rest of the hunting camp out of the hills. He went above and beyond by even finding Jake's favorite hat, binoculars and other personal items strung across the mountain side. He would not hear of Rick asking anyone else to go he just took care of it and by doing so took a load off of Rick's mind. Where would we be without dear friends? We love every single one of you. Please keep Jake in your prayers and we will give God all of the glory for his progress. God is Good!
