The latest news from the hospital is that Jake sat in a chair for quite a while today. Jake continues to respond to some commands. For example, Ant asked Jake if he would like to wash his face, he took the cloth from her hand and wiped his face. Interestingly enough, he dropped the towel on his chest and picked it up and continued to wipe his face. Later, Ant handed him a small stuffed animal he felt it and then threw it on the floor. Finally, Rick asked Jake to pull himself up and sit forward, and he did. All these actions are so encouraging. All of your prayers and support are so encouraging as well.
As I write Jeremiah is playing football in North Pole. Shaphan, Autumn, and Josie, joined Sawyer in cheering Miah on. We just received news he stripped the ball and took it in for his first touchdown! This is interesting considering Ant told Miah last game not to score a touchdown since she wasn't there to see it. So last game he was tackled on the 2 yard line twice, but no touch downs. Ant decided she had better revise her advice to Miah, so she told him he could score a touch down if he intercepted the ball, and look what happened.
