Jakes progress continues to improve. The physical therapist had him working hard today taking more steps. Much to Jake's pleasure he got to sit in his chair for a large portion of the day.

Okay, now onto the good stuff. The speech therapist asked Jake what his mom and dad's names were and he said Antoinette and Richard. How many of you knew that Rick real name was Richard? He also knew the year, could name his siblings, and when shown pictures and asked if he remembered the event he said he did. Jake is holding short conversations with his mom and family members. Sawyer is home for the weekend. Jake was glad to see him and told Sawyer "We're in the money".

Jake is improving so much but still needs his rest, therefore the doctors and therapist stand by their recommendation that only family visits. We are all looking forward to visiting Jake when it is best for him. Thanks for your prayers.
