The rootinest tootinest cowboy shootinest good time

Saturday was the first big cowboy shoot for Rick and Josie, or I should call them by their handles Wrangel Mountain Ranger and Injun Josie. They joined the cowboy shooting club and have been looking forward to this shoot. It was nice and sunny, but to call it warm would be a stretch. There were some warm kind of moments although it would be followed by a slight breeze coming off of the ocean which would make it a bit nippy.

This was their first time going but everyone was really friendly. Scoring was according to time and they would recieve penilties if they missed d. Josie had a guide that helped her hit the targets in the order that was instructed at the beginning of the scenario.

Autumn and Shaph came and enjoyed it with me. We really enjoyed watching everyone shoot. They would gather everyone around to tell them the scenario which might go like this. You're on a cattle drive and stopped for the night when you notice some rustlers coming up on you. You yell out protect the herd then you shoot your rifle at the targets (at that time he would tell them the order that they are suppose to shoot the targets) then grab your six shooters, he would instruct (he would then tell them the next targets they were to shoot. Last go and grab your shotgun and shoot 6 times at the targets. It was fun watching the cowboys pretend to be drinking their coffee then yell out Protect the hered, and the shooting would comense.

We were all pretty tired but it was the rootinest tootinest cowboy shootinest good time.

This is Wrangle Mountain Ranger and Injun Josie listening to the scenario.
